The results are in on the 2024 Razzie Awards<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, and it was a very big (but not necessarily great) night for one movie and one actress this year. <\/p>\n The annual awards show, which took place one day before the 2024 Oscars<\/strong><\/a><\/em> on Saturday (March 9), hands out awards to performers and movies that have been deemed the \u201cworst.\u201d <\/p>\n Going into the ceremony, Expend4bles<\/em> led the pack of nominees<\/a> with 7 nods in categories such as Worst Picture and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off of Sequel. <\/p>\n However, when it came time for the awards to be handed out, another movie swept the field, picking up five Razzies. The honor went to Fran Drescher<\/strong><\/a>, the President of SAG-AFTRA. Her award was \u201cfor her brilliant shepherding of the actors\u2019 guild through a prolonged 2023 strike with a successful conclusion.\u201d<\/p>\n
