\u2022\u00a0Dune<\/i>‘s Josh Brolin returns to Studio 8H for the third time tonight. This will be his first time back at the show since April 2012. His 2012 episode is notable<\/a> for including the debut of The Californians, Fred Armisen, Krsiten Wiig, and Bill Hader’s take on a SoCal set soap opera.<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0Brolin’s first episode, back in October 2008, was also particularly notable. Adele, at the time still attempting to breakout in America, was booked as the musical guest. The Republican Vice Presidential nominee at the time, Sarah Palin, made several appearances throughout the broadcast including a semi-confrontation with Tina Fey (who was the show’s resident Palin impersonator). This led to huge ratings which helped Adele gain the foothold she needed at the time. And less important, but a nine month pregnant<\/a> Amy Poehler proved she<\/a> was a true SNL legend that night too. <\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0Ariana Grande returns to the show for the first time since March 2016 (the infamous Larry David intro<\/a> is from this episode). She would go on to date Pete Davidson and well…we all know how that went. She never returned to the show during his tenure. <\/p>\n
