The 55-year-old \u2018I Should be so Lucky\u2019 singer \u2013 who was handed the Global Icon award at this year\u2019s Brit Awards in London and the icon gong at this week\u2019s Billboard Women in Music Awards \u2013 has spent years at the top of the charts, and says she has now reflected on her life and doesn\u2019t want females to overstretch themselves in pursuit of perfection.<\/p>\n
She told People on the red carpet at the Billboard awards about the biggest piece of advice she has for women: \u201cThere\u2019s one of you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kylie added: \u201cI\u2019ve yet to put that in a song, but I would love to. In every yesterday and every tomorrow, there\u2019s just you.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe spend so much time trying to better ourselves or judge ourselves or whatever.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI kind of want to say be the best you, but also you don’t have to be the best all the time, just be you.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cDo you at all different stages of your life.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAfter being named an icon at the Billboard ceremony, Kyie said on X: \u201cSo honoured to bring this beautiful memory (and crystal dream) home. (Pink heart emoji.) Tonight (and the last few days for that matter) have been just BEYOND! My love and thanks to all!!!!! (Three kissing emojis.)\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKylie recently released her \u2018Padam Padam\u2019 hit and her 16th studio album \u2018Tension\u2019 was her highest-charting album on the US Billboard 200 chart in over a decade.<\/p>\n
\nShe added to People about her recent successes: \u201cI\u2019m just enjoying the ride. A portion of the single\u2019s success was thanks to TikTok, where it became one of the app\u2019s signature viral sounds.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cNone of us could even consider that, so it was such a nice surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
