Kate Winslet<\/b><\/a> is not on board with Ozempic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Titanic <\/i>actress, 48, shared her thoughts on the weight loss drug in an interview with The New York Times Magazine<\/i><\/a> published on Monday, March 3, admitting she wasn\u2019t fully familiar with its use.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually don\u2019t know what Ozempic is,\u201d Winslet claimed. \u201cAll I know is that it\u2019s some pill that people are taking or something like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upon learning that patients inject themselves with the type 2 diabetes medication to curb their appetite, Winslet said, \u201cOh, my God. This sounds terrible. Let\u2019s eat some more things!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOzempic has become a hot topic when it comes to weight loss \u2014 with some stars confirming they have used the drug while others denied it. Chelsea Handler admitted during a January 2023 episode of the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast that she unknowingly took the Type 2 diabetes medication, which is traditionally used to improve [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ozempic \u2014 traditionally used to improve glycemic control \u2014 has been making waves in the wellness world as people turn to the drug in pursuit of shedding extra pounds. Besides Winslet, a number of other celebrities have spoken about the medication.<\/p>\n

In a January 2023 episode of the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast, Chelsea Handler<\/b> candidly revealed that she unintentionally consumed<\/a> Semaglutide, which is another name for Ozempic. Handler stopped taking it after gathering further information.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not on it anymore. That\u2019s too irresponsible,\u201d Handler explained. \u201cI\u2019m an irresponsible drug user, but I\u2019m not gonna take a diabetic drug.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly Osbourne<\/b>, meanwhile, told E! News<\/i> earlier this year that the Ozempic surge was \u201camazing,\u201d adding, \u201cThere are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it through something that isn\u2019t as boring as working out? People hate on it because they want to do it. And the people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it or pissed off that they can\u2019t afford it. Unfortunately, right now, it\u2019s something that is very expensive, but it eventually won\u2019t be because it actually works.\u201d<\/p>\n
