The Hollywood star, who is nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of P\u00e1draic S\u00failleabh\u00e1in in ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’, has revealed that Henry, 13, whose mother is Mexican-Polish actress Alicja Bachleda, will be joining him at the prestigious ceremony on March 12.<\/p>\n
Colin – who also has 19-year-old son James with model Kim Bordenave – told Vanity Fair: \u201cWe\u2019re both wearing velvet tuxes.”<\/p>\n
The acclaimed Irish movie is nominated for a total of nine awards at the Los Angeles bash.<\/p>\n
It’s the 46-year-old actor’s first Best Actor nod.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201c(I\u2019m) just so grateful to the Academy for all the love it\u2019s shared with the Banshees\u2019 cast and crew.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAlso, beyond honoured to be lumped together with my fellow nominees. A heartfelt congratulations to all the lads.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHis co-stars Brendan Gleeson, Barry Keoghan and Kerry Condon are also nominated in the Best Supporting Actor and Actress categories, while Martin McDonagh is up for Best Director.<\/p>\n
\nColin already scooped the Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical prize at this year’s Golden Globes.<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, the ‘Batman’ actor recently shared how \u201cfond\u201d he was of his donkey co-star in \u2018The Banshees of Inisherin\u2019.<\/p>\n
\nThe movie star shares a lot of screen time with a miniature donkey in the movie and he admitted their bond was very genuine.<\/p>\n
\nHe told OK! magazine: \u201cThrough the years, I\u2019ve worked with a lot [of animals]. I’ve worked with horses and dogs. This was the first time I\u2019ve worked with a donkey, but she was great.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe\u2019s such a very real and very present part of the film and the landscape, but also Padraic\u2019s emotional world.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cShe\u2019s a rescue donkey of sorts. She rescues him from his own boredom and his own kind of banality. Daily.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe bond that we ended up having on screen might not be a result of that editorial smoke and mirrors, shall we say.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was well fond of her. She was very sweet.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
