Viewers got to see Brittany Cartwright<\/b><\/a> and <\/span>Jax Taylor<\/b><\/a>\u2019s love story when they starred on <\/span>Vanderpump Rules<\/span><\/i><\/a>, while they continued sharing insight into their romance with fans on social media when they left the reality show in 2020. Brittany revealed that they were having problems in February 2024, which has led many to wonder if they are still together.\n<\/p>\n Brittany revealed that there was trouble in paradise<\/span><\/a> during the February 29, 2024, episode of their podcast, <\/span>\u201cWhen Reality Hits.\u201d<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cMany of you guys have been asking me about Jax and I and our relationship. I just think it\u2019s important to be real and honest with you guys<\/a> because we\u2019ve shared so much of our lives with you guys,\u201d she told their listeners. \u201cOn my last podcast I alluded to many marriages go through rocky times. Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I\u2019ve had a particularly rough year this past year. Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.\u201d<\/p>\n She then noted that they are currently focusing on what\u2019s best for their son, Cruz. \u201cI am taking things one day at a time,\u201d the reality star added. \u201cI don\u2019t know what the future holds but right now my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz. Everything will be just fine.\u201d<\/p>\n Just hours after Brittany revealed their problems, Jax insisted that they are still together. \u201cWe\u2019re living in our home right now,\u201d he told Page Six<\/em><\/a> on February 29, 2024, adding that his wife was \u201cin a house for a while\u201d and she\u2019s \u201cback home\u201d now.<\/p>\n Jax went on to explain that they are trying to \u201cfigure out\u201d the next steps of their separation. \u201cIt\u2019s not evil or nastiness,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s just two people that you now are hitting a 10-year mark in their marriage. We\u2019re just spending some time apart and just trying to re-assess, you know, our situation. We have a child involved and we just wanna do what\u2019s best for our kid.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair met in the spring of 2015<\/a>, which was in between seasons 3 and 4 of Vanderpump Rules<\/em>. I feel like we\u2019re almost starting over, but we\u2019ve grown so much. He does things before I even ask him now. Even just helping around the house.
