Family is everything, just ask the Duttons!\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em> made headlines following its premiere in June 2018 on the Paramount Network and now, it\u2019s one of the biggest shows on TV \u2014 with stars who have even bigger net worths<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I read the first script [of Yellowstone<\/em>], I thought it had a little of that gold dust,\u201d Kevin Costner<\/strong>, who plays Montana\u2019s fictional Yellowstone Dutton Ranch owner John Dutton, told Deadline<\/em><\/a> in February 2022.\u00a0\u201cI couldn\u2019t have predicted its popularity, or looked five years ahead, but I\u2019m never surprised at what quality can turn into. Being popular and really good doesn\u2019t have to be mutually exclusive. And so, I\u2019m pleasantly surprised.\u201d<\/p>\n The veteran actor stars as the Dutton Family patriarch who constantly comes face-to-face with people in the outside world trying to take control of the ranch and its land. Luke Grimes<\/strong>, Kelly Reilly\u00a0<\/strong>and Wes Bentley<\/strong> play the roles of John\u2019s children, Kayce, Bethany and Jamie, respectively, and even they don\u2019t know what\u2019s to come as the show continues.<\/p>\n \u201cWe never know what\u2019s next, you know?\u201d Luke, for one, told Entertainment Tonight<\/i><\/a> in March 2022.\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019re sorta on the ride with everybody else. We kinda get [the scripts]\u00a0as they come and we\u2019re always super excited to see what\u2019s happening next.\u201d<\/p>\n Created by Taylor Sheridan<\/strong>, the series has since given birth to multiple\u00a0Yellowstone\u00a0<\/em>spinoffs \u2014\u00a01883, 1932\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a06666<\/em>. The former\u00a0Sons of Anarchy<\/i><\/a> star has created a midwestern empire, although the parent show has become the most beloved. While\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em> fans hope the show will go on for years, Taylor told\u00a0The New York Times<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>in December 2021 that there is an end in sight.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s only so much hovering one can do before the story starts to lose its locomotion; you can\u2019t put it in neutral just because it\u2019s successful,\u201d he explained. \u201cIt will go as many years as it takes for me to tell the story, but you\u2019re not going to see nine seasons of it.\u201d<\/p>\n With a stacked cast, it\u2019s no surprise that\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em> became an immediate hit. And, with the show\u2019s success comes a pretty major payday for the stars. Yes, some of them have already racked up pretty impressive net worths thanks to their other roles over the years, but this show has only added to the number.<\/p>\n
