\nThe influencer, 22, who has made millions from his online content, was this week hit by a death hoax after keyboard warriors said he had choked on the food he uses in his eating challenge videos.<\/p>\n
\nHe said about having to call and tell his family he was alive and well after the bogus news spread like wildfire online this week: \u201cI make about \u00a322,000 a month from my content, but social media is just a cess pit.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy eating videos have made me really popular, but trolls used them to say I\u2019d died by choking on a pork chop. It was just bizarre to see news you had died spread online.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy family spotted it before I could tell them and I had to call them to say I was OK.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBeavo has taken a guest spot on a new podcast launching this week to tell of his shock over the hoax \u2013 and give advice to listeners on how to turn their content into cash.<\/p>\n
\nHe\u2019ll appear on UK influencer management firm the Rebel Agency\u2019s new show Rebel Devils, which aims to give \u201cdeep dives\u201d into the lives of the Internet\u2019s edgiest content creators.<\/p>\n
\nFake news about Beavo \u2013 real name Brandon Beavis \u2013 passing away started trending under the \u2018Beavo dead\u2019 hashtag, <\/p>\n
\nHe has became one of the most talked-about viral figures online since 2023, and since he started posting videos he has amassed a huge following on TikTok.<\/p>\n
\nAs of February 2024, he has racked up more than 1.3K followers, and over 25.6M likes.<\/p>\n
\nHe is also popular on Instagram where he gives his 178k followers a further glimpse into his life and latest projects.<\/p>\n
\nHis eating videos often show him gorging on meals without chewing his food, saying in one clip: \u201cApparently, I don\u2019t chew enough, but I don\u2019t need to chew.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cNo chew needed, you don\u2019t need to chew your food!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHis TikTok is plastered with videos of him eating mostly junk food, like pizza topped with fries, burgers, and takeaways. <\/p>\n
\nIn December 2023, the social media star was accused of promoting dangerous eating habits.<\/p>\n
\nA video stating he had died was posted by user @Yd1, and saw Beavo struggle to chew his food.<\/p>\n
\nOver the clip, it had the caption: \u201cRIP Beavo.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe video went viral and as of February 26 had more than 340,200 views.<\/p>\n
\nThe Rebel Devils podcast Beavo will appear on this week aims to feature \u201crebels of every variety\u201d and celebrate its guests\u2019 \u201cinner dark side\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nDigital entrepreneur Jordan Smith, 29, CEO of the Rebel Agency \u2013 which has helped make millions for its influencer and celebrity clients including former Love Island contestants \u2013 said: \u201cThe Rebel Devils Podcast will be a deep dive into the inner devil of all its guests \u2013 all of whom have escaped the rat-race and are doing what they love.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe\u2019re going to get the heart of their rebellious streaks and it will feature them revealing the most rebellious, devilish things they\u2019ve done, their darkest secrets and naughtiest opinions.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt is going to be a celebration of getting in touch with your inner devil and it\u2019s going to a lot of fun as people seem to have stopped celebrating that sort of thing these days.<\/p>\n
