Summer is supposed to be fun, but when Lindsay Hubbard<\/strong><\/a> and Carl Radke<\/strong><\/a> joined the Summer House<\/em><\/a> crew during season 8, episode 2, it was anything but a good time.<\/p>\n

Lindsay, 37, and Carl, 39, missed the group\u2019s first weekend<\/a> in the Hamptons to go to Washington, D.C., so tensions were high when they finally arrived. The couple, who were engaged<\/a> during season 8 filming, got into a blowout fight during the Thursday, February 29, episode of the Bravo series.<\/p>\n

Lindsay claimed that after landing herself in an all-boys car to the club she was \u201cworried\u201d the girls would use it against her in some way. She alleged that after she told Carl about her \u201cconcern,\u201d he \u201cbasically shuts me down and dismisses my feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carl had a different recollection of the conversation, telling the cameras, \u201cI\u2019m calm as can be in the backseat with her and I say, \u2018Babe, you\u2019re fine. I can see that but it\u2019s not that deep.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe cast of Summer House has proven time and again that the Hamptons are not always conducive to successful relationships \u2014 and the season 8 premiere was no different. When the new season began on Thursday, February 22, not all the couples in the house were off to a good start. While Us Weekly confirmed [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He alleged that Lindsay got in his face and accused him of being on drugs. \u201cShe\u2019s like, \u2018What are you on?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Nothing, what are you talking about?\u2019\u201d (Carl has been sober since January 2021<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Kyle Cooke<\/strong> backed up Carl\u2019s story, saying, \u201cI can\u2019t even put into words how quickly Lindsay went from zero to 100. She immediately starts to kind of freak out.\u201d<\/p>\n

A drunk Lindsay had pal Gabby Prescod<\/strong> take her home immediately where she vented about her then-fianc\u00e9\u2019s actions. \u201cThe way that he spoke to me tonight was very reminiscent of, like, Carl on cocaine,\u201d Lindsay claimed. \u201cI don\u2019t know what happened with him, but he was not sober tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lindsay started to cry in Gabby\u2019s bed as she spewed more allegations. \u201cSomething\u2019s wrong with Carl. The way he was speaking to me, he was cocaine Carl tonight. It was weird<\/a>,\u201d she alleged.<\/p>\n

Gabby, meanwhile, called Carl to check in on him and then told Lindsay, \u201cThat sounded like a sober man to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

After getting back to the house, Carl confessed that his heart was \u201cracing\u201d as he started to process the fight with Lindsay.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m shaking from it because it\u2019s beyond hurtful. It\u2019s f\u2013ked up and that\u2019s the person I\u2019m supposed to marry?\u201d he quipped. \u201cIt pains me deep down. The accusation and insulation that I\u2019m \u2018on something,\u2019 that kills me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The next morning, things got worse when Lindsay continued to insinuate that Carl had fallen off the wagon<\/a>. \u201cYou\u2019re the one who\u2019s drinking all night and wakes up f\u2013king angry,\u201d Carl told Lindsay, to which she fired back, \u201cYou\u2019re the one who is clearly doing other things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carl yelled, \u201cLindsay, I am f\u2013king sober! You drank all day long and are rude and aggressive toward me when I\u2019m trying to be supportive. That\u2019s so f\u2013ked up.\u201d He told her he was \u201cupset\u201d and \u201cfrustrated\u201d by everything that happened.<\/p>\n

While Carl and Lindsay were together throughout the summer, Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in August 2023 that Carl called off their engagement<\/a>. Lindsay exclusively told Us<\/em><\/a> in November 2023 that she felt \u201cblindsided\u201d by the breakup and claimed that Carl worked with producers to \u201cmanipulate\u201d her so their split would be on camera.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke went through it all on Summer House \u2014 from breakups to makeups and more \u2014 before calling off their engagement in August 2023. When the series premiered on Bravo in January 2017, Hubbard and Radke were part of the OG cast of Summer House and have since returned for every [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Although Lindsay and Carl\u2019s breakup got messy, Lindsay claimed that when she accused Carl of being on drugs over the summer it was out of a place of concern.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, this was over summer. I was in love with this man. This was the man I was about to marry. He was my fianc\u00e9,\u201d Lindsay recalled to Us<\/em> in February<\/a> of the controversial moment. \u201cAny questioning that I had came from love and concern as you would with any decisions or odd behavior from your partner.\u201d<\/p>\n
