Spirit Airlines<\/a> is planning to launch seven new routes this May, including two to Puerto Rico<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ultra-low-cost carrier confirmed Thursday it’s planning to launch nonstop service to Luis Mu\u00f1oz Mar\u00edn International Airport (SJU) in San Juan, P.R. from two continental U.S. airports: Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).<\/p>\n

The routes launch May 8 and 9 respectively.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Miramar, Florida-based carrier said it would add five additional routes, four of which will originate from Baltimore\/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).<\/p>\n

Plus, it’s adding a new daily nonstop from New York City.<\/p>\n
