On February 29, 2024, Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> alums Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a> and Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a> announced their separation after four years<\/a> of marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn my last podcast I alluded to many marriages go through rocky times. Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I\u2019ve had a particularly rough year this past year. Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,\u201d Brittany said on their \u201cWhen Reality Hits\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

Brittany and Jax tied the knot in 2019 after four years of dating, although they briefly split in 2017 when it was revealed that Jax cheated with former VPR<\/em> costar Faith Stowers<\/strong>. Brittany and Faith aren\u2019t the only VPR<\/em> alums in Jax\u2019s dating history, either \u2014 he\u2019s been linked to a handful of others through the years.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Stassi Schroeder<\/h2>\n

Jax dated Stassi in season 1 of Vanderpump Rules<\/em>. They had a slightly unconventional romance, as the Michigan native said they moved in together on their third date. However, moving quickly worked for them, as they dated for two years before the cameras started rolling. The couple split when Jax confirmed that he cheated on Stassi during a trip to Las Vegas. After a brief reunion in season 2, the couple ended things for good.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Rumors swirled during season 2 that Jax hooked up with Stassi\u2019s best friend Kristen. He later confirmed that they did so while watching Drive<\/em> on a couch in Tom Sandoval<\/strong>\u2019s apartment. Kristen and Stassi went through a hard time with their friendship because of the hookup, but they were able to work things out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Jax later admitted to using Laura-Leigh to make Stassi jealous. \u201cThe way I handled that situation was just awful,\u201d he said in July 2023. \u201cI use the term runaway train because, I really was, I was very reckless.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Though Jax said he and Tiffany got along \u201creally well,\u201d they dealt with distance, as Tiffany worked and lived in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You tattooed my freaking name on your arm,\u201d she told Jax when he broke things off. \u201cAfter this, I don\u2019t want to see you again. I don\u2019t like you. You\u2019re 35 years old. Stop with the partying. Get focused. Get on track. Get your life together. I want a man that\u2019s motivated to do good things, and motivated to make me a priority in his life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Jax and Brittany met in Las Vegas when she joined the show in season 4. Though they split when he cheated on her with Faith, the couple reunited that same year. Jax and Brittany got engaged in June 2018 and got married a year later. They welcomed a son named Cruz in 2021.<\/p>\n

Brittany announced her split from Jax in February 2024. \u201cMany of you guys have been asking me about Jax and I and our relationship. I just think it\u2019s important to be real and honest with you guys because we\u2019ve shared so much of our lives with you guys,\u201d the Kentucky native revealed. \u201cOn my last podcast I alluded to many marriages go through rocky times.
