there will be no change during the low season.<\/p>\n<p>ANA has also announced revisions to its award chart prices for business- and first-class tickets from the U.S. to the following: South Korea and Russia (Zone 2), Asia 1 (Zone 3) and Asia 2 (Zone 4).<\/p>\n<p>You can find more information on the specific award price changes on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ana.co.jp\/en\/jp\/guide\/amc\/award\/tk\/zone\/info\/231206\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ANA&#8217;s website<\/a>, including new prices to and from Europe, Hawaii and Oceania.<\/p>\n<div class=\"&#10;        EmailSignUp_container__qYzYT&#10;        undefined&#10;        EmailSignUp_isLoading__i_qm0&#10;      \"><picture class=\"EmailSignUp_graphic__zgpFm\"><source media=\"screen and (max-width: 767px)\" srcset=\"\/images\/EmailSignUp\/daily-mob.svg\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/images\/EmailSignUp\/daily-dt.svg\"\/><\/picture>\n<div class=\"EmailSignUp_form__C8FWb\">\n<p>Daily Newsletter<\/p>\n<p>Reward your inbox with the TPG Daily newsletter<\/p>\n<p>Join over 700,000 readers for breaking news, in-depth guides and exclusive deals from TPG\u2019s experts<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/reviews\/ana-the-room-business-class\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Feels like first class: Flying ANA The Room business class from LA-Tokyo<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This program does not allow one-way redemptions, so you will be charged the round-trip price even if you only need a flight in one direction.<\/p>\n<p>Mileage Club is a transfer partner of <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/guide\/amex-points-value\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">American Express Membership Rewards<\/a>, and while redemption rates have been very attractive, transfers from Amex are not instant and not reversible, meaning there is some risk of seats disappearing while members wait for points to transfer.<\/p>\n<p>Though ANA is increasing its award rates for business-class flights, there are no changes to the Mileage Club redemption rates for economy or premium economy flights.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"ana-increases-award-rates-for-star-alliance-business-class-flights\" class=\"jsx-3480274316 anchor\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"jsx-3480274316\">ANA increases award rates for Star Alliance business-class flights<\/h2>\n<p>Mileage Club redemptions for flights on <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/guide\/star-alliance-benefits\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Star Alliance partner airlines<\/a>, including United Airlines, Air Canada and Lufthansa, will also increase, with business-class rates for bookings made from April 18 onward as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>United States to Europe: 110,000 miles round-trip (up from 88,000 miles)<\/li>\n<li>United States to Japan: 110,000-117,000 miles round-trip (up from 85,000-90,000 miles)<\/li>\n<li>United States to Oceania: 145,000 miles round-trip (up from 120,000 miles)<\/li>\n<li>United States to the Middle East: 70,000 miles round-trip in economy (up from 65,000 miles), 130,000 miles round-trip in business class (up from 104,000 miles) and 210,000 miles round-trip in first class (up from 195,000 miles)<\/li>\n<li>United States to Hawaii: 47,000 miles round-trip in economy (up from 40,000 miles), 85,000 miles round-trip in business class (up from 68,000 miles) and 135,000 miles round-trip in first class (up from 120,000 miles)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Redemptions traveling on ANA made through partner programs, such as the fantastic <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/guide\/airline-award-chart-sweet-spots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Virgin Atlantic Flying Club sweet spot<\/a>, remain unchanged, though availability is difficult to find.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"bottom-line\" class=\"jsx-3480274316 anchor\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"jsx-3480274316\">Bottom line<\/h2>\n<p>Devaluations are an unfortunate reality of airline and <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/guide\/best-hotel-loyalty-programs\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">hotel loyalty programs<\/a>, and while unwelcome, this could be worse.
