This time, he\u2019s not just on the receiving end of your average lawsuit; oh no, it\u2019s one that reads more like a script from a wildly dramatic crime series. Music producer Rodney \u201cLil Rod\u201d Jones<\/a><\/strong>, who apparently was super close to Diddy, practically living with him (because why not?), has slapped Combs with a lawsuit<\/a> demanding a cool $30 million.<\/p>\n Why? For a buffet of accusations ranging from sexual assault (for the 5th time in what, less than six months?), participation in a shooting that nobody seems to have solved yet, and, get this, not paying him for his beats.<\/p>\n Now, before you jump to conclusions, know that Jones claims to have been the creative genius behind several tracks on Combs\u2019 latest album. In an attempt at damage control, Combs’ attorney Shawn Holley has stepped into the ring throwing jabs at what he describes as \u201creckless name-dropping\u201d and \u201cpure fiction.\u201d According to Holley, they\u2019re sitting on a mountain of evidence proving Jones is spinning a web of lies, but it seems Jones\u2019 corner, led by attorney Tyrone Blackburn, isn\u2019t picking up the phone.<\/p>\n While Combs\u2019 camp gears up for a courtroom showdown, the rest of us are left to ponder the age-old question: is any publicity good publicity?
