While Mecole Hardman Jr.<\/strong> famously said he \u201cblacked out\u201d while catching the game winning touchdown pass during Super Bowl LVIII, he does remember what Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> told him afterward.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think she was like, \u2018Good job, proud of you, good game. Like, man it was crazy,\u2019\u201d Hardman, 25, said during the Tuesday, February 27, episode of the \u201cPivot Podcast.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver added that Swift, 34, also mentioned his magic tricks after the win. He explained that when the pair first met, he performed a trick with a deck of cards \u2014 which the pop star thought was \u201ccrazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEverytime she sees me, she talks about it,\u201d he said. \u201cSo then she was like \u2026 \u2018Your hands are magical,\u2019 or something. Like, \u2018You catch the game-winning touchdown.\u2019 So that was kinda cool, [her] saying that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The game serves as a rematch of the 2020 big game that the Missouri team won. The athletes \u2014 including respective quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Brock [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the Super Bowl LVIII game earlier this month, Hardman caught the touchdown pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes<\/strong> in overtime, leading the Chiefs to a 25-22 victory<\/a> over the San Francisco 49ers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI ain\u2019t gonna lie, man, I caught that pass and I blacked out,\u201d Hardman said during the CBS postgame broadcast. \u201cI didn\u2019t know what was going on until I saw Pat running to me and I was like, \u2018Oh, we just won? Let\u2019s celebrate!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

When recalling the play<\/a>, Hardman said on Today<\/em> that \u201cthe magnitude of the moment\u201d got to him.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u200bBut all I can remember is, after I caught it, I just see [Mahomes] running to me, like, \u2018You\u2019re a champion!\u2019 and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, we won! OK, bet.\u2019 And then I started celebrating. But I definitely don\u2019t remember nothing after I caught [the] ball,\u201d he said earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFrom actors to musicians to comedians, there are certainly a lot of famous faces who are faithful fans of the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have a long legacy as a victorious football team. They took home three league championships in 1962, 1966 and 1969 before winning their first Super Bowl in 1970. The team [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The game marked the Chiefs\u2019 third Super Bowl win in recent years, following their victory in 2020 and 2023. Swift, who\u2019s dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce<\/strong>, supported the team at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas alongside several of her family members<\/a> and close pals.<\/p>\n

When asked whether Hardman felt a difference having Swift join Chiefs Kingdom, he said it didn\u2019t really affect the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo us, it wasn\u2019t really nothing because it\u2019s Trav, bro,\u201d he said on Tuesday. \u201cIf anybody\u2019s gonna do that, it\u2019s Trav that\u2019s going to get that, do that. It\u2019s Travis who\u2019s gonna do it. Trav is such a cool dude, and Taylor\u2019s so cool, bro.\u201d<\/p>\n
