He was always booking work. Everyone that worked with him loved him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And the list of those who worked with him was long!<\/p>\n<p>Eddie appeared in countless hit TV shows, including\u00a0<em>Desperate Housewives, Mad Men, Entourage, Sex and the City\u00a0<\/em>and more recently,<em>\u00a0This Is Us<\/em>. He also had a recurring role on the soap opera\u00a0<em>Days of Our Lives\u00a0<\/em>and had a signifigant part in TNT\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Last Ship<\/em>\u00a0as Randall Croft.<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-6\">Eddie\u2019s pal confirms that he died in Los Angeles on Dec. 15 after a months-long battle with stomach cancer.<\/p>\n<p>He suffered a saddle pulmonary embolism, which\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yalemedicine.org\/clinical-keywords\/saddle-pulmonary-embolism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Yale Medicine<\/a>\u00a0notes is \u201ca life-threatening condition characterized by a large blood clot that lodges at the bifurcation of the pulmonary artery, obstructing blood flow to both lungs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_1-0-6\">\u201cIt got tough there at the end, but he was a trooper.
