Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> likes to keep Us on our toes during her \u201csurprise song\u201d section, which she\u2019s succeeding at thanks to her continued mash-ups.<\/p>\n

During her Sunday, February 25, concert in Sydney, Swift, 34, performed two mash-ups. She first combined \u201cIs It Over Now,\u201d a 1989 (Taylor\u2019s Version) <\/i>vault track, with \u201cI Wish You Would,\u201d another song from 1989<\/i>, which she played on her acoustic guitar.<\/p>\n

Swift, dressed in a flowy yellow gown, then moved over to her piano for her next mash-up<\/a>. She performed a rendition of Speak Now<\/i>\u2019s \u201cHaunted\u201d and Folklore<\/i>\u2019s \u201cExile.\u201d (While \u201cExile\u201d was initially recorded as a duet with Bon Iver, Swift sang solo on Sunday.)<\/p>\n

Swift is in the middle of a four-show run at Sydney\u2019s Accor Stadium, in which she has performed mash-ups at every concert.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift launched her first concert tour in more than four years in March\u2014 and positively slayed with her fashion choices. The \u201cAnti-Hero\u201d songstress, 33, kicked off her tour on Friday, March 17, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona \u2014 where February\u2019s Super Bowl LVII was held. The\u00a0Eras Tour, which celebrated all of Swift\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Her first gig on Friday, February 23, featured a rendition of \u201cWhite Horse\u201d and \u201cConey Island,\u201d which she sang with Eras <\/i>opener Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>. She picked the Fearless<\/i>-era song because it was \u201cvery important\u201d<\/a> to Carpenter, 24, when she was growing up.<\/p>\n

The next night, on Saturday, February 24, Swift did her first double mash-up<\/a>. The 14-time Grammy winner belted a hybrid of \u201cShould\u2019ve Said No\u201d and \u201cYou\u2019re Not Sorry,\u201d as well as \u201cPeace\u201d and \u201cNew Year\u2019s Day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift has been on tour since March 2023, rotating two songs in the acoustic section of her setlist. She changes what tracks she\u2019ll play based on each crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set moving forward and I don\u2019t want to limit anything or say, \u2018Oh, if I played this song, I can\u2019t play it again,\u2019\u201d Swift said during her February 18 concert<\/a> in Melbourne. \u201cSo, from now on, I don\u2019t want to take any paint colors out of the paintbox [or] tools out of the toolbox.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI want to be able to play songs more than once if I feel like it and I want to be able to make changes to songs. Does that sound OK?\u201d<\/p>\n
