Glen Powell<\/strong><\/a> and Sydney Sweeney<\/strong><\/a> are in search of their next romantic comedy after the success of Anyone But You<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Powell, 35, revealed to Variety<\/em><\/a> during the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday, February 24, that he and Sweeney, 26, were already reading scripts for their next romantic venture. \u201cWhen you find somebody that you really jive with, Sydney is so easy to work with and so fun. We\u2019re definitely trying to find the next thing,\u201d the Top Gun: Maverick<\/em> actor explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease send us all the scripts you got,\u201d Powell continued. \u201cYou know we\u2019re here for it. It\u2019s been really wonderful to read a lot. Sydney reads everything, by the way, and in record time. She\u2019s the fastest reader I think I\u2019ve ever met. It takes me a little longer, but we\u2019re reading everything and just trying to see what makes sense, what we can turn into something that audiences are going to respond to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Sweeney hinted at future projects with Powell<\/a> when asked about a potential Anyone But You<\/em> sequel, but she did not offer any specific details. \u201cI can\u2019t actually reveal all of my secrets,\u201d the Euphoria<\/em> star told E! News<\/em> on February 12.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSydney Sweeney and Glen Powell may hate each other in their forthcoming romantic comedy Anyone But You, but the actors are close friends in real life. The duo were first announced as the film\u2019s stars in January 2023. By April of that year, Sweeney and Powell had jetted to Australia in order to film the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, she vaguely confirmed that she was \u201ctalking to [Powell] this morning\u201d and that they were \u201ctalking about stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

When pressed for more information, Sweeney replied, \u201cYou never know, you\u2019ll have to wait and see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anyone But You<\/em>, a modern retelling of William Shakespeare<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Much Ado About Nothing<\/em>, has so far earned $200 million at the worldwide box office against a $25 million budget. Sweeney, who produced the film with fianc\u00e9 Jonathan Davino<\/strong><\/a>, celebrated the film\u2019s previous milestone of $100 million worldwide<\/a> on January 22, one month after the film\u2019s theatrical release on December 22, 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou guys are the best,\u201d Sweeney wrote via Instagram Story at the time. \u201cI know I keep saying this but I honestly can\u2019t thank you enough for continuously sharing your love for this film.\u201d She added, \u201cRom coms are back baby!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
