Dakota Johnson never imagined being in a superhero film<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old actress plays the titular character in the much-maligned ‘Madame Web’, and Dakota has now revealed that she almost rejected the project.<\/p>\n
The Hollywood star told ‘Extra: The Podcast’: “I never really saw myself in a superhero film. <\/p>\n
“I spoke with S.J. [Clarkson], the director, a lot about how I could pull it off, and I really wanted to make sure that my character was really grounded and complex and had a real personality.<\/p>\n
“At the end of the day, I loved that it was a young woman whose superpower was her mind, and that to me was an interesting and inspiring thing.”<\/p>\n
\nThe movie has been widely panned by critics since its release. But Dakota suggested that she still enjoyed filming the superhero movie.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking about her superhero outfit, the brunette beauty said: “I was like, \u2018What?\u2019 You don\u2019t see it a lot in the movie. It comes more at the end of the movie, and it just was so fun to be able to wear something like that.”<\/p>\n
\nBy contrast, Dakota previously revealed that she had the “worst time” on ‘The Office’.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress made a cameo appearance on the hit TV show back in 2013 – but Dakota didn’t enjoy the experience at all.<\/p>\n
\nShe said on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’: “That was honestly the worst time of my life.<\/p>\n
\n“They were like, ‘Do you want to be in the series finale?’ And I was like, ‘Of course,’ thinking that I’d show up for like half a day. I was there for two weeks. And I’m barely in the show.”<\/p>\n
\nDakota explained that there were some “weird” on-set dynamics.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress added: “Some people didn’t speak to each other. No one wanted to talk to me.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
