It is impossible for actors not to have a \u201cworst audition\u201d story after years of trying out for roles \u2014 but some stand out more than others.<\/p>\n
Matt LeBlanc<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s worst audition earned him the role of Joey Tribbiani on Friends<\/em><\/a>, one of his most famous characters to this day<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI remember I had gone in a bunch of times and I think it was on the final callback, I had gone with a friend of mine to run lines,\u201d LeBlanc recalled during the highly anticipated Friends<\/em> reunion<\/a>, which debuted on HBOMax in May 2021. \u201cAnd he said, \u2018So the show is about friends and being friends? Just a group of friends?\u2019 And I said, \u2018Yeah, kinda!\u2019 And he was like, \u2018Well, we should go out drinking.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Yeah, that\u2019s a good idea!’\u201d<\/p>\n However, it turned out not to be such a good idea.<\/p>\n \u201cTo make a long story short, I woke up in the middle of the night at his apartment and had to go to the bathroom,\u201d LeBlanc explained. \u201cI got up too fast and I can\u2019t believe I\u2019m telling this, but I kind of blacked out \u2014 as you do \u2014 and fell face-first into the toilet, hit my nose on the bottom of the toilet seat, and a huge chunk of meat came off my nose. And I\u2019m looking in the mirror, it\u2019s bleeding, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, my God. I have to go in for the big callback and [there\u2019s] a big ugly scab on my nose.’\u201d<\/p>\n
