{"id":77805,"date":"2024-02-23T02:01:35","date_gmt":"2024-02-23T02:01:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/23\/melanie-c-would-love-to-do-something-else-with-the-spice-girls\/"},"modified":"2024-02-23T02:01:35","modified_gmt":"2024-02-23T02:01:35","slug":"melanie-c-would-love-to-do-something-else-with-the-spice-girls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/23\/melanie-c-would-love-to-do-something-else-with-the-spice-girls\/","title":{"rendered":"Melanie C &#8216;would love to do something else&#8217; with the Spice Girls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"byline\">\n<time itemprop=\"datePublished\" content=\"2024-02-23\" datetime=\"1708653695\" pubdate=\"\">23 February 2024<\/time>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/melanie-c\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,melanie-c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Melanie C<\/a> would love to reunite with the Spice Girls &#8211; but a comeback isn&#8217;t on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"image-caption landscape\">Melanie C has addressed rumours of a reunion<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/mel-b\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,mel-b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mel B<\/a> recently suggested that a Spice Girls comeback was in the works, and while Melanie is keen to reunite with the girls, she acknowledged that it isn&#8217;t close to happening.<\/p>\n<p>During an appearance on the &#8216;Sidetracked&#8217; podcast, Melanie explained: &#8220;Mel, I adore her and she has this thing, and it can sometimes get us into hot water.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Of course we\u2019re always talking, we\u2019d love to do something else.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019d love to get back on stage with the girls but everybody wants to do something a little bit different or in a different way, so it\u2019s just trying to get everyone on the same page at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;But Melanie likes to manifest things and she thinks if she says it enough, it will happen.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;I can\u2019t confirm that there is anything happening soon but we\u2019re always talking about opportunities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nMelanie, 50 &#8211; who used to be known as Sporty Spice &#8211; admitted that she&#8217;d love to reunite with the Spice Girls.<\/p>\n<p>\nHowever, she suggested that her bandmates might not be so keen on the idea.<\/p>\n<p>\nAsked about the prospect of the band going on tour, Melanie replied: &#8220;You\u2019re talking to the wrong one.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;I\u2019d be there next week.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nIn January, Mel B suggested that the band were on the cusp of a comeback.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe 48-year-old pop star &#8211; who starred in the group alongside Melanie, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner &#8211; told The Sun newspaper: &#8220;My theory is that if I say it enough, it will happen.
