Fans of Freaky Friday<\/em> are in luck \u2014 Lindsay Lohan<\/strong><\/a> is swapping places with someone again for her new Netflix film, Irish Wish<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lohan stars as Maddie Kelly, whose life gets flipped upside down after making a wish while attending her best friend Emma Taylor\u2019s (Elizabeth Tan<\/strong>) wedding to Paul Kennedy (Alexander Vlahos<\/strong>). After her wish comes true and she switches places with the bride, Emma learns that her relationship with dream guy Paul isn\u2019t exactly what she thought.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a nice story of luck and love and confidence,\u201d Lohan told Netflix\u2019s Tudum<\/a> about the rom-com. \u201cMaddie\u2019s [one of the only] characters that I\u2019ve played [who\u2019s] a woman on her own making her way in the world \u2026 We shaped her in a way that she was a bit more insecure in the beginning, and then she grows throughout the movie, and by the end, she really comes into her own.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lohan added that she hopes the overall theme of the movie will help others, explaining, \u201cIt\u2019s important to put yourself first and know your worth \u2026 If you know you deserve better, go for it and get it.\u201d<\/p>\n
