Rene\u00e9 Rapp’s<\/a> favorite moment from the <\/span>Mean Girls<\/em><\/a> movie is, of course, one of the film’s most iconic scenes.<\/span><\/p>\n ET has an exclusive sneak peek at one of special features from the film’s upcoming digital release, and in the “Song and Dance” segment, the cast and creative team open about what it took to create the film’s epic musical numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n “I think ‘World Burn’ is my favorite song,” Rapp shares of her climactic ballad, which she belts as the school devolves into chaos following the release of the infamous “Burn Book.” “I love it, it’s very high, it’s very bitchy. It’s intense. It’s very fun.”<\/span><\/p>\n The film’s choreographer, Kyle Hanagami, shared that his concept for the sequence was “slightly music video-style.”<\/span><\/p>\n “We track her down the hallway and then reverse — cut to, her big note,” he says of the scene. Watch the clip above.<\/span><\/p>\n The special features also include a singalong version of the film, interviews with Tina Fey and the stars of <\/span>the updated classic<\/a>, a gag reel, an extended scene and the “Not My Fault” music video from Rapp and Megan Thee Stallion.<\/span><\/p>\n Prior to the film’s release, <\/span>ET spoke with Fey<\/a> about how she got original <\/span>Mean Girls<\/span><\/em> star <\/span>Lindsay Lohan<\/a>\u00a0to make a surprise cameo in the new film.<\/span><\/p>\n “We were hoping that she’d be willing to come and I was just trying to think of like, ‘Where could she be that could be a surprise?'” Fey recalled.<\/span><\/p>\n In the end, the\u00a0<\/span>Freaky Friday<\/span><\/em>\u00a0actress ended up playing the host of the mathlete competition, even making a joke directly related to the original movie and her role.<\/span><\/p>\n When the North Shore Lions math team members find themselves in a tie with their competitors, Lohan looks to the students and says, “Well, this has only happened once before.” The line is a direct reference to the pivotal scene from the 2004 movie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Fey said that it felt the most organic to\u00a0“reinforce that aspect of her original character.”<\/span><\/p>\n “And also it comes at a time in a movie where maybe you think like ‘Oh, I guess maybe we’re done with surprises’ and then you get a nice little surprise,” she noted.<\/span><\/p>\n Mean Girls <\/span><\/em>is available to buy or rent on Digital on Feb. 20 from Paramount Home Entertainment. The film will also be available on\u00a04K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 30 — the 20th anniversary of the original <\/span>Mean Girls.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
