Kristen Doute<\/strong> <\/a>revealed that former and current Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> stars \u2014 including Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 reached out to Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a> when he dealt with suicidal ideation.<\/p>\n

During the Friday, February 16, episode of her \u201cSex, Love and What Else Matters\u201d podcast<\/a>, Doute, 41, reacted to a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules<\/em> where Sandoval, 41, revealed he struggled with his mental health following his high-profile split from Madix, 38.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course when Tom brings up something that is very detrimental regarding suicidal thoughts \u2014 that is terrifying. I don\u2019t want to hear that from anyone. And I remember hearing about this back in the Scandoval time in the spring of last year,\u201d she recalled. \u201cNot only did Scheana [Shay] reach out to him as she said she did \u2014 heartfelt, 100 percent \u2014 I too reached out to him. Ariana reached out to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Doute recalled getting in contact with Madix, adding, \u201cA lot of us texted Ariana and said, \u2018You realize we need to reach out to him, we\u2019ve heard some rumors.\u2019 This wasn\u2019t a secret. We heard some scary things that he was thinking about. He\u2019s also not the only one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tVanderpump Rules has officially been renewed for season 11 \u2014 and viewers are in for a messy return in the aftermath of Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval\u2018s cheating scandal. Us Weekly confirmed in March 2023 that Sandoval and Ariana Madix had called it quits after nearly a decade of dating due to his infidelity. As [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sandoval and Madix called it quits in March 2023 after nine years of dating due to his affair<\/a> with their costar Rachel \u201cRaquel\u201d Leviss<\/strong>. Their breakup resulted in most of the Vanderpump Rules<\/em> cast siding with Madix while Sandoval remained on the outs<\/a> with the group. (Leviss, 29, checked herself into a mental health facility before exiting the Bravo series.)<\/p>\n

While addressing the aftermath, Sandoval revealed to Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong> how much the scandal affected him.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIf I f\u2013king say I am sorry and I cry then it is [called] crocodile tears. I battled with suicide [thoughts]. Don\u2019t tell me what I felt,\u201d he said on the Tuesday, February 13, episode of VPR<\/em>. \u201cI was hanging on by a thread. The walls start closing and you can\u2019t see past the hurt and the pain. You can\u2019t dream about better days. I was getting to the point where I was like, \u2018What is the f\u2013king point?\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Vanderpump, 63, got upset with Sandoval for not letting her know.<\/p>\n

\u201cI reached out to you, and you know how I feel about that. Losing my brother [in 2018] \u2014 I understand you might have felt like that. And you promised me,\u201d she said before elaborating in a confessional. \u201cTom Sandoval assured me after the reunion when I called him from the car on the way home. I said, \u2018You promise me Tom that if you ever have any thoughts like that \u2026\u2019 And he said, \u2018I am not that person. I wouldn\u2019t do that.\u2019 So to hear him say he had those thoughts and he didn\u2019t call me? That scares me the f\u2013ing daylights out of me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandoval addressed the emotional conversation<\/a> between him and Vanderpump on his \u201cEverybody Loves Tom\u201d podcast, sharing on Thursday, February 15, \u201cI don\u2019t remember everything that was said, but that was close to a two-hour conversation edited to three to five minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n

And I understand that it was big news, but at a certain point, stop ridiculing [Tom] Schwartz<\/strong> for being my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
