Sylvester Stallone<\/a> has warned fellow actors to avoid doing their own stunts after his body was “never physically the same” following ‘The Expendables’. <\/p>\n

The 77-year-old action movie legend was badly injured while shooting a scene with wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin<\/a> for the 2010 motion picture, and he has “never recovered” fully. <\/p>\n

Speaking on his reality show ‘The Family Stallone’, he said: “I did stupid stuff. I was directing ‘Expendables’ and like an idiot I\u2019m doing take ten, take whatever, and I remember one slam and I could actually feel one \u2018bang\u2019.<\/p>\n

“Steve knew. I never recovered from ‘Expendables 1’.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter that film, it was never physically the same.<\/p>\n

\n“I\u2019ve warned people – don\u2019t do your own stunts.”<\/p>\n

\nSylvester has undergone seven back operations following the incident, but joked he would be the perfect person to play fictional character Quasimodo, who was born with a hunchback, in a remake of movie ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’.<\/p>\n

\nHe added: “If they ever need a remake of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, I\u2019m ready.”<\/p>\n

\nSylvester’s wife Jennifer Flavin, 55, admitted it is “very scary” for their family when he undergoes a back operation. <\/p>\n

\nShe explained: “Sly tries to mask the pain, pretending like it didn\u2019t happen. He doesn\u2019t like people to know he\u2019s had so many back surgeries.<\/p>\n

\n“It\u2019s very scary for our family every time Sly has to go through surgery, because you never know\u2009…\u2009no one knows.”<\/p>\n

\nThe ‘Rocky’ star previously insisted he only feels his age because he’s been injured so many times. <\/p>\n

\nSpeaking in 2022, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “The older I get the more I try to embrace my inner kid.<\/p>\n

\n“The only way I really feel my age is because I\u2019ve had so many injuries.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
