Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested for an alleged DUI.<\/p>\n

Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested over the weekend<\/p>\n

\nThe 42-year-old actor – who is best known for playing Brad Taylor on the ABC sitcom ‘Home Improvement’ – was arrested in the early hours of Saturday (17.02.24) morning in La Quinta, California.<\/p>\n

\nThe TV star was arrested for an alleged DUI, as well as a misdemeanour for alleged contempt of court. His bail was set at $50,000, plus an additional $15,000 fee for the misdemeanour.<\/p>\n

\nBryan was released on the same day as his arrest and he’s been given a court date of April 23.<\/p>\n

\nBryan has faced a number of legal cases in recent years. But in 2023, the actor argued that an incident that led to his domestic violence arrest got \u201cblown out of proportion\u201d. <\/p>\n

\nThe former child star agreed to take a deal and plead guilty to menacing and fourth-degree assault in February 2021 after a row with partner Johnnie Faye Cartwright in 2020.<\/p>\n

\nSpeaking about the bust-up, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a town home that had (thin walls) \u2013 everybody could hear. <\/p>\n

\n“At the end of the day, (police) throw a bunch of counts at you because they ultimately want you to plead to something. I could\u2019ve fought it\u2026 but that\u2019s more stress and drama.”<\/p>\n

\nJohnnie Faye Cartwright, Bryan’s partner, also voiced her support for the actor.<\/p>\n

\nShe previously told Us Weekly: “Trauma can bring struggles in many shapes and forms. It\u2019s a horrible situation that\u2019s going to be spun in so many ways. I\u2019ve learned firsthand the truth will never align with what\u2019s been put out there.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
