Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> has Us<\/em> wishing we could hop in a \u201cgetaway car\u201d to Australia for\u00a0The Eras Tour<\/i>.<\/p>\n

During Swift\u2019s Saturday, February 17, concert in Melbourne<\/a>, she did something new for her surprise song section and performed a mash-up of three songs. Swift, 34, began with a rendition of\u00a0Reputation<\/i>\u2019s \u201cGetaway Car.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to play one that you really want to hear, I want you to be happy,\u201d she said to the crowd, per social media<\/a> footage.<\/p>\n

Swift then transitioned into \u201cAugust\u201d from\u00a0Folklore\u00a0<\/i>before closing out with \u201cThe Other Side Of The Door\u201d from Fearless (Taylor\u2019s Version).\u00a0<\/i>While the Grammy winner \u2014 who also performed \u201cThis is Me Trying\u201d from\u00a0Folklore \u2014\u00a0<\/i>has previously mashed-up two of her songs in the acoustic section, Saturday was her first time adding a third to the mix.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSeveral of Taylor Swift\u2019s famous friends and fans have shown up to shake it off at the singer\u2019s much-anticipated The Eras Tour. The stars of Swift\u2019s \u201cBejeweled\u201d music video \u2014 Este Haim, Danielle Haim, Alana Haim and Laura Dern \u2014 were among thousands of fans in attendance at the tour\u2019s opening night in Glendale, Arizona\u2019s [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eagle-eyed Swifties pointed out on social media<\/span><\/a> that all three of the chosen songs reference infidelity in a relationship. In \u201cGetaway Car,\u201d Swift sings that it is a \u201csideshow\u201d being involved in a situation with \u201cthe three of us,\u201d while \u201cAugust\u201d is about a teenage love triangle. \u201cThe Other Side of the Door,\u201d meanwhile, features the lyric, \u201cAnd I broke down crying, was she worth the mess?\u201d<\/p>\n

Swift kicked off her\u00a0Eras Tour<\/i><\/a>, celebrating all of her past albums, in March 2023. While the show features\u00a0<\/i>sections devoted to each record, there is also a set for two rotating additions.<\/p>\n

Since embarking on her Eras Tour in March, Swift has floored fans and critics alike with her impressive record-breaking concert, which spans over three and a half hours in length and features the singer performing a set list of 44 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Swift concluded the initial U.S. and South American portion of\u00a0Eras\u00a0<\/i>in late 2023 and returned to the stage earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI decided that in 2024, when we go back on tour, I\u2019m just gonna open back up<\/a> all the songs for surprise songs,\u201d Swift noted at her Brazil concert in November 2023. \u201cI feel like, for one year, we\u2019ve really gotten through a lot of songs, so I\u2019m just gonna make all the songs fair game when we go back on tour.\u201d<\/p>\n
