\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Sad news for Blink-182<\/strong><\/a> fans.<\/p>\n The band \u2013 featuring members Tom DeLonge<\/strong><\/a>, Travis Barker<\/strong><\/a>, and Mark Hoppus<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 was set to hit the road for a new tour<\/a> starting on March 11 at the Imperial GNP festival in Tijuana, Mexico and then would travel across Latin America through April.<\/p>\n However, on Wednesday (March 1), Tom<\/strong> announced that the band had to postpone their shows for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Tom<\/strong> revealed that the band had to postpone their tour as Travis<\/strong> recovers from surgery after severely injuring his finger during rehearsals in early February.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so sorry to everyone in South America that we couldn\u2019t be down there. This is something that we have been aiming to do for so long, and we worked so hard, and we just kind of had one of those freak accidents that nobody saw coming,\u201d Tom<\/strong> shared in a video posted to Travis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cTravis needs to go in and have surgery on his finger, and we have to get that well, and we have to get that strong before we can do anything else,\u201d Tom <\/strong>continued. \u201cThis is just so sad. These were the biggest shows we ever played, these are some of the most important places in the world for a band. This was like the pinnacle of our career, was coming down and playing for you guys, so I really want you all to know that we\u2019re devastated.\u201d<\/p>\n Tom<\/strong> concluded his message by reassuring fans that they will return to all of the venues that they have to skip.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re gonna get Travis better, and were gonna come down, the three of us, together, and we\u2019re gonna rock and we\u2019re gonna have an incredible time with you guys,\u201d Tom<\/strong> said. \u201cThis is not something that we could even have saw coming\u2026 but we love you, Blink 182 loves you, and we will see you soon.\u201d<\/p>\n We wish Travis<\/strong> a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
