To buy or not to buy \u2014 that is the question Nick Cannon<\/strong><\/a> finds himself asking when it comes to getting Valentine\u2019s Day<\/a> gifts for his sons.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo I get my sons something for Valentine\u2019s Day, \u2018cause they see their sister has something?\u201d Cannon, 43, questioned on the Friday, February 16, episode of the \u201cCounsel Culture Show\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After his guest, Dr. Laura Berman<\/strong>, responded that she \u201calways\u201d buys her sons gifts for the February holiday, Cannon stated that it is OK for her to do so because she is their mother. \u201cMoms should get the boys something,\u201d he said. \u201cShould dad get his sons something for Valentine\u2019s Day?\u201d<\/p>\n

Cannon continued: \u201cIt is technically a romantic holiday. I do, I get everybody something but it\u2019s like, most of the time it keeps me out of trouble. I take my daughter out for Valentine\u2019s Day and my son doesn\u2019t get to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCelebrities are feeling the love on Valentine\u2019s Day 2024. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made sure to shower his wife, Brittany Mahomes, with love on Wednesday, February 14, by giving her a red rose ahead of his team\u2019s Super Bowl victory parade. \u201cHappy Valentines,\u201d Brittany, 28, captioned an Instagram Story selfie on a bus [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Berman, 54, argued that Valentine\u2019s Day is meant to celebrate all kinds of love, not just the romantic kind. \u201cWhy does it have to be a heterosexual thing?\u201d she asked before noting that Cannon is not \u201cromantically involved\u201d with any of his kids.<\/p>\n

Berman wrapped up the topic by suggesting the father of 12 get his sons a \u201cbig stuffed animal\u201d as a way to show his love for them. \u201cYeah,\u201d he replied, \u201cbut I\u2019m not sending them roses.\u201d<\/p>\n

As he mentioned during the episode, Cannon took his eldest daughter Monroe, 12, out to dinner to celebrate Valentine\u2019s Day on Wednesday, February 14. \u201cBest Valentines Date Ever!!! \u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f,\u201d he captioned Instagram<\/a> pics of their night out at the Suga Factory in New York City one day later. (Cannon welcomed Monroe and her twin brother, Moroccan, with ex-wife Mariah Carey<\/strong> in 2011.)<\/p>\n
