The singer, 54, made the admission while sitting down with Hoda Kotb, 59, for a game of \u2018This is Me\u2026 Now\u2026 or Then?\u2019 on the \u2018Today\u2019 show to mark the release of Jennifer\u2019s new album, called \u2018This is Me\u2026 Now\u2019, which will be released on Friday. She and Hoda was asked to hold up a paddle that said \u2018Now\u2019 or \u2018Then\u2019 on its two sides in answer to questions.<\/p>\n
When Hoda asked Jennifer to display which paddle she would use to give her final opinion on the issue of wearing crop tops, she first suggested her days of putting them on were in the past by holding up the \u2018Then\u2019 side of her paddle \u2013 before switching it to \u2018Now\u2019.<\/p>\n
Jennifer then added: \u201cNow\u2026 and forever! My kids are like, \u2018Mom! The crop top!\u2019 and I\u2019m like, \u2018Yeah?!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHoda asked the singer: \u201cThey\u2019re not digging it?\u201d, with Jennifer replying: \u201cNo. They don\u2019t dig it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJennifer has previously admitted her actor husband Ben Affleck, 51, also isn\u2019t a fan of her skimpy outfits, telling Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos during a 2023 TV appearance: \u201cHe\u2019ll joke with me sometimes\u2026 he\u2019ll say things like, \u2018Where\u2019s the rest of the shirt?\u2019 or things like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe singer split with Ben in 2004 after they postponed their wedding the previous year \u2013 before they rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in 2022.<\/p>\n
\nJennifer married actor Marc Anthony, 55, in 2004, and the pair had twins Max and Emme, 16, before their split in 2014 \u2013 while Ben married actress Jennifer Garner, 51, in 2008 before they split a decade later after having daughters Violet, 18, and 15-year-old Seraphina.<\/p>\n
\nThe singer said even though her kids aren\u2019t fans of her crop tops, they love her music and movies, telling Hoda she thinks they \u201cloved\u201d going to a recent premiere of her new musical movie \u2018This is Me\u2026 Now: A Love Story\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
