Tyler Perry<\/a> (briefly) had to do the mute challenge with\u00a0<\/span>Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>‘s music — after spending some time on the road with her this summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On Wednesday, the <\/span>Mea Culpa<\/span><\/em> director appeared on the <\/span>Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon<\/em><\/a>, where he dished about the quality time he spent with Queen Bey on the\u00a0Renaissance World Tour this summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “During the strike, I had a lot of time on my hands, so I went on tour with\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9,” he quipped. “She didn’t know it, she didn’t know it, but I was on tour with her at all these different stops.”<\/span><\/p>\n Perry, 54, was spotted at Bey’s opening show in Stockholm, Sweden, then attended dates in Los Angeles (including her star-studded birthday show) and Atlanta, Georgia. The famed producer was on hand in November for the premiere of <\/span>Renaissance: A Film By Beyonc\u00e9<\/span><\/em> in Los Angels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Still, Perry said that despite attending numerous shows, he continued to play the\u00a0<\/span>Renaissance<\/span><\/em> alum, until it came time for him to do the mute challenge with the music.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I played that\u00a0Renaissance album so much that I had to put\u00a0<\/span>Beyonc\u00e9<\/span><\/em> on mute,” he told Fallon. “I was like, ‘I can’t.’ I needed a break because if you wake up in the morning saying all the songs in the morning … all day long.”<\/span><\/p>\n However, the break from Bey’s music didn’t last long, as he shared that he’s been <\/span>listening to her two newly released country singles, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.”<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “And then she comes out with some more great stuff a couple days ago, so it’s good.”<\/span><\/p>\n Mr. Perry shared that he also hit the road with other artists including Chris Stapleton, Diana Ross, and Anita Baker.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I was on tour with everybody,” he joked to Fallon. “They didn’t know it though.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On Super Bowl Sunday, the 42-year-old musician stopped the world once again, when she announced upcoming new music, after appearing in a Verizon spot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9 starred in the ad, in which she, with the help of\u00a0<\/span>Tony Hale<\/a>, tried to break the internet through a series of promotional stunts. The spot ended with Beyonc\u00e9 exclaiming, “Drop the new music!” While no further information was revealed at the time,\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9’s follow-up Instagram post answered all of fans’ burning questions.<\/span><\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9 didn’t leave her fans wondering for long, as she <\/span>revealed that\u00a0Renaissance Act II <\/em>will be released March 29<\/a>. The latest act in what is a three-part project, will follow Act I, released in July 2022, and was dedicated to club\/house music.<\/span><\/p>\n
