That is a tremendous amount of music, even stretched out over decades.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like it\u2019s the end of a kind of an era for me and the beginning of a new one,\u201d Lopez assessed. \u201cSo I would never say never.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She clarified: \u201cBut right now I feel like I really put my heart and soul into this and I\u2019m very excited and it definitely took a lot out of me.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"This Is Me...Now: A Love Story - Official Trailer | Prime Video\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Osu2N9gysYk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Lopez\u2019s new album is actually a sequel to her 2002 album, <em>This Is Me \u2026 Then<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>She is also coming out with (and starring in) a film that utilizes her music to drive and spell out her story.<\/p>\n<p>Basically, it will cover things like her life and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/01\/ben-affleck-and-jennifer-lopez-on-the-verge-of-separation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">romances and public scrutiny<\/a> under the cover of song. Like a music video, but covering more topics and \u2026 longer. All coming out on Prime when the album does.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-who-asked-for-this\">Who asked for this?<\/h2>\n<p>Though a lot of people like to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/01\/ben-affleck-and-jennifer-lopez-look-grumpy-on-vacation-and-the-jokes-write-themselves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">crack jokes about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck<\/a> and they have hardcore supporters, it\u2019s not clear how large the market is for this sort of self-indulgent music project.<\/p>\n<p>We, and the analytics team at Amazon Prime Video, will find out soon enough.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s possible that the public response to this \u201cfinal\u201d album could tilt the scales towards or away from retirement.
