Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong> <\/a>and Chase Stokes<\/strong><\/a> won\u2019t be able to put their hearts first this Valentine\u2019s Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m working, sweet man is working,\u201d Ballerini, 29, told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> <\/a>in a Tuesday, February 13, interview when asked why the couple won\u2019t be spending the romantic holiday together. \u201cWe are across the world from each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

The country star is currently in New York City for Fashion Week, while Stokes, 31, is filming season 4 of his Netflix series Outer Banks<\/em><\/a> in Wilmington, North Carolina and Morocco. Despite the distance between them, Ballerini told ET<\/em> that the pair are \u201cfeeding our souls\u201d by taking time to work on their respective goals.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so nice to have a career that we both love, so whenever we\u2019re not together, we\u2019re still feeding that love tank,\u201d she said, sharing that the twosome have set aside time for a \u201cFacetime date\u201d in between their busy schedules.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes quickly became a fan-favorite couple after confirming their relationship status. The country singer and the Outer Banks star were first linked in January 2023 after they were spotted together at the College Football Playoff National Championship in Los Angeles. Ballerini confirmed the romance one month later during an appearance on [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Just because Ballerini won\u2019t be with her partner on Valentine\u2019s Day doesn\u2019t mean she isn\u2019t trying to get others in the mood. The singer took to social media<\/a> on Tuesday to try and create a playlist from her own discography \u2014 before quickly realizing that her songs don\u2019t all scream \u201cromance.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo tomorrow is Valentine\u2019s Day, and I thought since I make music, I could give you a playlist,\u201d Ballerini said via an Instagram video before launching into breakup ballads like \u201cI Hate Love Songs,\u201d \u201cBlindsided (Yeah, Sure, Okay)\u201d and \u201cMiss Me More.\u201d<\/p>\n

While she couldn\u2019t seem to find a track that fit the occasion, she hinted that the tone of her music may look different in the future. \u201cHere to soundtrack your valentine\u2019s day, lovebirds,\u201d she wrote captioned the post, adding, \u201cJust kidding, maybe next year? \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ballerini\u2019s personal life has been filled with ups and downs over the past few years. She and ex-husband Morgan Evans<\/strong> finalized their divorce<\/a> in November 2022, and Ballerini released her EP about the split, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat<\/em>, three months later in February 2023. She and Stokes confirmed their romance later that month.<\/p>\n

The two have been open about their admiration<\/a> for one another ever since. While celebrating their first anniversary earlier this month, the duo penned sweet and silly tributes to each other in honor of their love.<\/p>\n

\u201cA whole trip around the sun with my bestie,\u201d Ballerini captioned a carousel of Instagram videos and snaps of the twosome. \u201c@hichasestokes thanks for making me write love songs.\u201d Stokes shared his own collection of pictures and clips to Instagram, writing, \u201cOne year of lovin you. P.s. told ya I wouldn\u2019t embarrass you.\u201d<\/p>\n
