Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s kids miss \u200b\u201dJenny From the Block.\u201d The \u201cLet\u2019s Get Sound\u201d singer, 54, opened up about her twins\u2019 thoughts on her new music and admitted Emme<\/a> and Max prefer her older songs.<\/p>\n

J. Lo described playing her two-decade old album, This Is Me \u2026 Then<\/em>, out loud for her teenage children at home one day during a Tuesday, February 13, interview with Variety<\/em>. \u201c\u2018Is this you, Mommy?\u2019\u201d Jennifer recalled them asking.<\/p>\n

After putting on another one of her classic tracks, Jennifer said she asked Emme and Max, 15, if they liked what they heard and was met with a resounding \u201cyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then they\u2019re like, \u2018Yeah, we like this more than the music you make now,\u2019\u201d J. Lo admitted with a laugh. She referred to the humbling moment as a \u201cgood ouch.\u201d<\/p>\n

This Is Me \u2026 Then<\/em>, Jennifer\u2019s third studio album that was released in November 2002, will soon premiere its film sequel years in the making. The Amazon original This Is Me\u2026Now: A Love Story<\/em><\/a>, which the streamer described as a \u201chighly visual and musical reimagining of her publicly scrutinized love life,\u201d will drop on February 16 \u2014 the same day as her ninth album.<\/p>\n

The film, which stars Jennifer and Ben Affleck<\/strong> as themselves, will tell the story of their very public off-again-on-again relationship \u201cthrough her own eyes,\u201d according to Prime Video.<\/p>\n

The third component of Jennifer\u2019s upcoming three-part project, which cost $20 million total to make, is a documentary called The Greatest Love Story Never Told<\/em>. The \u200bbehind-the-scenes film, which was inspired by a series of letters Ben sent to Jennifer, will be available to stream beginning February 27.<\/p>\n

The \u201cOn the Floor\u201d singer has even hinted that this passion project may be the end of her decades-long career in music.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like it\u2019s the end of a kind of an era for me and the beginning of a new one, so I would never say never, but right now I feel like I really put my heart and soul into this and I\u2019m very excited and it definitely took a lot out of me,\u201d she told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> on Sunday, February 11.<\/p>\n

As for parenting fraternal twins, who she affectionately calls her \u201ccoconuts,\u201d J. Lo has been honest in the past about the \u201couches\u201d that come with raising kids.<\/p>\n

Speaking about her film The Mother<\/em>, which was released in May 2023, the pop icon shared her belief that there is \u201cno perfect version of a mom\u201d during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to be the best mom you can be with who you are and what you know, and the things that you learned and experienced in your life,\u201d she told the outlet at the time. \u201cAnd that\u2019s what you kind of pass on to your kids, you protect them and love them, no matter what.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
