In honor of the occasion, Carey took to Instagram to celebrate.<\/span><\/p>\n “Beyond excited and thrilled to be among these legendary nominees for this year\u2019s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. Congratulations to all! @rockhall,” the “Butterfly” songstress wrote.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In the comments, Kravitz expressed his excitement to be part of the class with his old friend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Congratulations!,” he wrote. “We’ve come a long way. Honored to share yet another experience with you.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Kravitz took to his respective social media to celebrate the news of his nomination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Woke up to this! Grateful to be nominated for this prestigious honor, @rockhall,” the “Fly Away” singer wrote. “Cast your vote daily starting today through April 26th @ vote.rockhall.com.”<\/span><\/p>\n Kravitz and Carey have not recorded together. However, the pair starred alongside each other in the 2009 film, <\/span>Precious<\/span><\/em>.
