Brooklyn Peltz Beckham failed to impress wife Nicola with his acting skills<\/p>\n
The 29-year-old actress takes the lead role and has directed the new movie from a script she wrote herself, and she admitted she left her husband \u201creally upset\u201d when she dumped his scene because he didn\u2019t prove to be a natural on camera.<\/p>\n
She told The Hollywood Reporter: \u201cBrooklyn is actually really upset that he did get cut from his one little cameo. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe had one line, \u2018Hi\u2019, but he kept saying it in a British accent and he was staring directly into the camera. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was like, oh God, we have to move on, good lord. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo, Brooklyn ended up on the chopping block. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I couldn\u2019t have done any of this without him because he was such a massive support to me every day on set which I\u2019m so appreciative of.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhile Brooklyn doesn\u2019t feature in the finished movie, Nicola\u2019s brother, Will Peltz, does have a scene and she admitted she\u2019d have liked to have given him a \u201cmuch bigger\u201d role but it wouldn\u2019t have been right for the story she wanted to tell.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: \u201cI wanted my brother to have a much bigger part, but the thing is, to anyone who might not know he\u2019s my brother they might be thinking to themselves, wait, why didn\u2019t she end up with that guy? That guy seems great and he\u2019s so handsome. But, like, OK, that would not work out.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNicole is \u201cso excited\u201d for people to finally see \u2018Lola\u2019 but she\u2019s also \u201cnervous\u201d about how it will be received.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI\u2019m honestly so excited for people to finally be able to see it, and of course a little nervous. I want everyone to love it. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI poured my heart and soul into it, and I hope people feel somewhat connected to the story. That\u2019s all I can ask for.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
