Sharon Osbourne believes controversy follows her around<\/p>\n

The 71-year-old star believes that drama and controversy follow her around, because of her “eccentric” personality.<\/p>\n

Sharon – who is married to music star Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> – told the Guardian newspaper: “I\u2019m a magnet for drama. I think it\u2019s because I\u2019m a bit eccentric – it must follow me around. <\/p>\n

“Sure, I have regrets. That\u2019s a part of life and growing. I often think, ‘If I could only do that again’, but you can\u2019t. All you can do is try to make sure you don\u2019t do whatever it was another time.”<\/p>\n

Sharon is well-known for being outspoken with her opinions. But the TV star insists that she doesn’t dwell on what she says.<\/p>\n

\nSharon – who left ‘The Talk’ in 2021, after she defended Piers Morgan over his criticism of the Duchess of Sussex – said: “I\u2019m someone who\u2019s always said what\u2019s on her mind – then it\u2019s gone. <\/p>\n

\n“But other people won\u2019t let it go. They don\u2019t like confrontation and they don\u2019t like it when I challenge a situation.”<\/p>\n

\nSharon previously starred as a judge on the UK version of ‘The X Factor’.<\/p>\n

\nBut on reflection, Sharon doesn’t think it’s fair to put young people through the pressure and scrutiny of reality TV shows.<\/p>\n

\nShe explained: “I was a judge on ‘The X Factor’ for years, but I\u2019d never do a talent show again. <\/p>\n

\n“It\u2019s not right to put kids through that pressure. That\u2019s particularly true of reality-based shows. <\/p>\n

\n“Young people aren\u2019t mentally prepared for what\u2019s going to happen to them. When they fall by the wayside, they get brushed aside.”<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, Sharon acknowledged that she’s been through lots of “ups and downs” in her own life.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: “I\u2019ve lived a lot of life in my 71 years – there are a lot of stories. Plenty of ups and downs, good luck and bad, too. It\u2019s not all been wine and roses.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
