\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Dwayne \u201cThe Rock\u201d Johnson<\/strong><\/a> is giving an update on the live-action Moana<\/strong><\/a><\/em> movie!<\/p>\n The project was announced<\/a> in April 2023. Dwayne<\/strong> is attached as a producer, as is Auli\u2019i Cravalho<\/strong><\/a>, who voiced Moana in the animated film.<\/p>\n During an appearance at the WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff<\/em> event on Thursday (February 8) in Las Vegas, Dwayne<\/strong> hinted at some big casting news!<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOne of the exciting things about that was actually finding our Moana and how exciting that has been,\u201d he told ET<\/a>. \u201cThe global search to find our Moana \u2013 which \u2013 between you and I, we found her \u2013 not gonna tell you yet. [It’s] very exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n On the other names involved in the live-action Moana<\/em> movie, Dwayne<\/strong> said, \u201cLin Manuel Miranda\u2019s coming back. We\u2019re doing the music. Tommy Kail is our director, who directed Hamilton<\/em>.
