\u201cAll of this was done to honor the amazing woman, songwriter, and artist that she is,\u201d he said. \u201cThe entire opportunity for us to even be on a stage with Tracy Chapman is what this was all about.\u201d<\/p>\n
Their duet also marked the first time Chapman and Combs had met in person \u2014 and Chapman\u2019s first award show in years.<\/p>\n
