Usher<\/strong><\/a> might not be alone during the 2024 Super Bowl<\/a> halftime show as he belts out some of his biggest songs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would be a fool to not play \u2018Yeah!\u2019 let\u2019s just start there,\u201d Usher, 45, quipped to Entertainment Tonight <\/i><\/a>in an interview published on Thursday, February 8. \u201cIt would be foolish to make it all the way to Las Vegas, Jon is here, Luda\u2019s here and not play \u2018Yeah!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

One of Usher\u2019s early hits was 2004\u2019s \u201cYeah!,\u201d which was a collaboration with rappers Lil Jon<\/strong> <\/a>and Ludacris<\/strong><\/a>. The trio then joined forces again on 2020\u2019s \u201cSexBeat.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a collective of all of our process, like I can remember Luda \u2026 working with Poon Daddy<\/strong> and Lil Jon was working at [record label] So So Def and that was the all-star city\u2019s DJs,\u201d Usher recalled of meeting the pair during a 2020 interview on SiriusXM<\/a>. \u201cWe always tried to support each other in Atlanta. I think at some point [it was a producer,] who thought it was a really great idea to bring Lil Jon and myself [together], and then Luda was the icing on the cake.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIf there\u2019s one question going into Super Bowl 2024 \u2014 besides \u201chow many times will the NFL show Taylor Swift in the stands?\u201d \u2014 it\u2019s \u201cwho is Usher going to bring out during his halftime show?\u201d Ever since Usher, 45, was named the headliner for the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show, fans have [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lil Jon, 53, brought \u201cYeah!\u201d to Usher and Ludacris, 46, before they recorded and released it and it became a massive hit.<\/p>\n

It was announced in September 2023 that Usher would headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LVIII before fans started speculating what songs would be included in the musician\u2019s 15-minute set<\/a> and if any surprise guests would make an appearance. Ludacris even pitched himself for a cameo.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he makes that call, cool. I\u2019m not gonna say no to that,\u201d Ludacris told ET <\/i><\/a>in November 2023. \u201cThat\u2019s a great opportunity and that\u2019s my friend. We\u2019ve been friends for a long time. If he makes that call then, of course, I will. That would be crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before Usher takes the Allegiant Stadium stage on Sunday, February 11, he\u2019s made sure that the show will be one to remember.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just reinvigorated my brand, my energy, my excitement about music,\u201d Usher gushed to ET <\/i>on Wednesday. \u201cI love the energy, I love the people more than anything. I remind myself to smile. Most of the time you get so caught up in being serious and making certain that everything is perfect and has a certain intensity. Every day I come in, I try to give positive energy. No matter how tired I am, no matter how much the day before me will drain me right, I\u2019m smiling. Because I\u2019m here.\u201d<\/p>\n
