Kelly Rowland<\/strong><\/a> is \u201cJumpin\u2019, Jumpin\u2019\u201d at the chance to defend Jay-Z<\/strong><\/a> after his controversial comments<\/a> regarding his wife Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Grammys snub.<\/p>\n \u201cShawn Carter is one of the greatest men I know and his words ring so loud to me,\u201d the Destiny\u2019s Child alum, 42, told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> during a Tuesday, January 6, interview. \u201cI couldn\u2019t be more proud of him.\u201d<\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>\u2019s former bandmate added that she was \u201creally happy for a lot of things that he said.\u201d \u201cI think that he made a lot of artists feel very seen and very heard in those minutes that he took on stage,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like she is an icon \u2026 and that\u2019s for a reason,\u201d the \u201cDilemma\u201d singer gushed. \u201cIt\u2019s because she starts trends. She is innovative, her thoughts are big and bright and she just jumps for them and does it.\u201d<\/p>\n The former girl group member added that Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s work is a \u201creflection\u201d of her talent and creativity, and that \u201cit should be really celebrated in that way.\u201d \u201cI\u2019m not saying that because it\u2019s my sister, I\u2019m saying it because it\u2019s the truth,\u201d she quipped.<\/p>\n
