Kelly Ripa wants to act as Shannen Doherty<\/a>‘s matchmaker.<\/p>\n

Shannen Doherty is currently single<\/p>\n

The 52-year-old actress has revealed that Kelly, 53, is determined to help her to find love, following her split from ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko.<\/p>\n

The actress said on her ‘Let\u2019s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty<\/a>‘ podcast: “Kelly is awesome because I just saw her when I did her show and at the commercial break, she was like, \u2018Are you ready? Are you ready to date? Are you ready for a boyfriend? I\u2019m going to find you someone’.<\/p>\n

“She started asking me like, \u2018What\u2019s your list? What do you need?\u2019 She was like, \u2018Oh, I think I got somebody in mind.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Shannen feels her showbiz pal is the perfect person to help her to find a new man.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: “I was like, dude, just text me and you can. You\u2019re 100 percent the right person to start setting me up. I\u2019m fine with that.”<\/p>\n

\nIn November, Shannen revealed that she’s “open” to finding love – despite her ongoing cancer battle.<\/p>\n

\nThe actress told PEOPLE at the time: “I was not ready at all before three weeks ago. And something happens. There’s always a trigger, just a moment that you have, somebody says something to you, your ex says one thing to you and you’re like, ‘Okay, yeah, I’m good. I’m good.’ I have closure and I can move on in a really healthy way.”<\/p>\n

\nShannen added that she’s “pretty sure” she’ll meet someone new in the coming months.<\/p>\n

\nThe actress – who has been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer – shared: “I don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to be single forever.<\/p>\n

\n“I have to love myself and reckon with the past, really, before I can move forward, and now I\u2019m pretty sure I\u2019ll meet somebody – hopefully soon.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
