Tom Schwartz<\/strong><\/a> revealed that the aftermath of Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s cheating scandal included banning Sandoval from their Schwartz & Sandy\u2019s establishment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe really had it bad. We all had to clean Tom\u2019s mess. He has severely tainted the brand name,\u201d Schwartz, 41, told Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong> during a new episode of Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a>, which aired on Tuesday, February 6. \u201cMy partners don\u2019t want to work with him. He is like an absentee partner \u2014 these are their words.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Schwartz, their business partners were ready to take drastic action<\/a> if Sandoval, 41, didn\u2019t stay away.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did ask Sandoval to step away from Schwartz & Sandy\u2019s,\u201d he shared. \u201cAnd my partners told Tom if he comes in then they are going to close the doors and he\u2019s not welcome there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tMany Vanderpump Rules viewers have wondered whether Tom Sandoval\u2018s affair with Rachel \u201cRaquel\u201d Leviss affected his stake in TomTom and Schwartz & Sandy\u2019s. Before his personal life blew up on a nationwide scale, Sandoval and Tom Schwartz partnered up with Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, on TomTom. The restaurant, which opened its doors [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Schwartz, however, found himself shocked by Sandoval\u2019s reaction, adding, \u201cHowever, I didn\u2019t expect him to fully check out. I thought he would be more proactive with pitching ideas on how to weather this.\u201d<\/p>\n

In March 2023, news broke that Sandoval and Ariana Madix<\/strong> called it quits after nearly a decade of dating due to his affair with their costar Rachel \u201cRaquel\u201d Leviss<\/strong><\/a>. Bravo fans made their wrath at the situation known by leaving negative reviews about Schwartz & Sandy\u2019s.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe too are disappointed by the current situation as Ariana has always been a good friend and a great supporter of the restaurant,\u201d read a statement shared via the Schwartz & Sandy\u2019s Instagram account that same month. \u201cWe appreciate that you may feel a certain way but please understand that the livelihoods of others also depend on this business. There are four more people involved in this venture other than just Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandoval remained in the public eye<\/a> by going on tour with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, and appearing on Fox\u2019s Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test<\/em>. At the time, Schwartz slammed Sandoval for not showing more interest in fixing the mess<\/a> thrust upon their shared businesses. (The duo are also partners in TomTom with Vanderpump.)<\/p>\n

\u201cHe made a big mess and he left it for us to clean up back at the businesses,\u201d Schwartz said on Jax Taylor <\/strong>and Brittany Cartwright<\/strong>\u2018s \u201cWhen Reality Hits\u201d podcast in June 2023. \u201cIt\u2019s hard for me not to be resentful of him, I\u2019m definitely taking a break from Tom right now. I haven\u2019t seen him in a while.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schwartz\u2019s public comments came up in Tuesday\u2019s episode when he met with Sandoval.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know this was collateral damage. I\u2019m really sorry, Schwartz,\u201d Sandoval said. \u201cI can feel that you are angry at me. But obviously I had to tour and stuff. My bank account was literally overdrawn. Like dude, Ariana hadn\u2019t paid any of the bills for f\u2014king eight months. I am literally moving $1,000 around to this account and moving $500 to another to cover our mortgage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandoval was hurt by Schwartz\u2019s decision to air out their drama<\/a> with Jax, 44, noting, \u201cIt really hurt my feelings that you go on Jax\u2019s podcast to say that I am touring to live my rockstar dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Schwartz brought the topic back up<\/a> to their bar. \u201cI was upset because we are dealing with your s\u2014tshow. I know we asked you to step away and you stepped away, but if I was in your situation, I would have been reaching out and pitching ideas,\u201d he continued. \u201cPitching solutions. Like, \u2018Hey guys, can I hire a publicist? I just want to let you know that that I am so sorry.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Schwartz and Sandoval\u2019s\u00a0connection was formed even before Pump Rules premiered in 2013, with the twosome sharing an apartment with former costar Jax Taylor.\u00a0By season 3 of the Bravo hit, Schwartz had been [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Schwartz said it \u201cdidn\u2019t seem\u201d like Sandoval \u201cgave a s\u2014t\u201d about their livelihood. \u201cJust take it. All you should be saying is I am sorry,\u201d he told his friend. \u201cAll I care about is the business I put half a million dollars into, you put in more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandoval ultimately apologized but stood by the issues he had with Schwartz\u2019s podcast statements.<\/p>\n
