Brock Davies<\/strong> got in a heated conversation with Scheana Shay<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 and her mother \u2014 about his wife\u2019s mental health issues.<\/p>\n

During a new episode of Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a>, which aired on Tuesday, February 6, Scheana, 38, candidly discussed being diagnosed with OCD after welcoming her and Brock\u2019s now-2-year-old daughter, Summer<\/a>. Scheana struggled to leave her child because of intrusive thoughts, but she took a big step by asking friend Tori Keeth<\/strong> to babysit<\/a> on a trial basis.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you could help a night or two when we need to be somewhere and she needs to be put in the crib, that is really all I am looking for from you,\u201d Scheana told Tori, 24, while Brock, 32, and her mother, Erika van Olphen, sat in the same room. \u201cSomeone who I would also trust leaving.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brock subsequently made a comment about Scheana\u2019s \u201cinability to let things go<\/a>,\u201d which upset her and Erika.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHappily ever after! Scheana Shay found something special with Brock Davies after previously having several ups and downs in her dating life. The Vanderpump Rules star married Mike Shay in 2014 on the Bravo show and filed for divorce two years later. In 2016, Scheana reconnected with her ex, Robert Valletta, and their relationship was [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s not what it is. Just shut up,\u201d Scheana said before Brock asked, \u201cOCD \u2026 Or what is it? Why did you just get so triggered?\u201d<\/p>\n

The conversation took an emotional turn as Scheana burst into tears, adding, \u201cBecause she\u2019s my everything and I\u2019m not just going to leave her with anyone. I\u2019m saying this is a really big deal for me. To bring in someone else to help. That\u2019s why I said, \u2018Let\u2019s start with Tori. Because I feel comfortable with that. Please.’\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Brock went on the defense by pointing out they weren\u2019t \u201cjust going to leave\u201d Summer<\/a> with a random person.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy are you saying please to me? I have been asking for this for months,\u201d he noted while elaborating in a confessional. \u201cI just miss my wife just having a good day. Before we had Summer, we were this juggernaut of getting things done. Now for Scheana, day to day simple tasks can become monumental and overwhelming. It is a lot of thought process. The problem is when there are a lot of what ifs, we don\u2019t get anything done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Erika attempted to explain to Brock where Scheana was coming from<\/a>, saying, \u201cI just think sometimes you need to validate her feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tWhile Scheana Shay has stated on several occasions that she would accept a job passing out roses on The Bachelorette, the Vanderpump Rules star does alright finding dates on her own! \u201cI would be the Bachelorette. [But] I don\u2019t want to go on The Bachelor to become the Bachelorette,\u201d Scheana told Us Weekly in March [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Brock didn\u2019t seem thrilled by the suggestion that he doesn\u2019t support Scheana. He tried to argue his side of the story but ultimately ended up arguing with Scheana and Erika.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s two of you validating her feelings right now. All I do is support you and I\u2019m trying to help with that,\u201d Brock noted as Erika shook her head. \u201cDon\u2019t [disagree]. You surround yourself with yes people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Erika swiftly rejected the notion that her daughter relied<\/a> on her. \u201cI raised two daughters who don\u2019t need anything from me. Do you two need my help or ask for my help with Summer? Yes,\u201d she replied. \u201cBut that isn\u2019t Scheana not being one of the most independent people I know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Erika continued: \u201cYou have come far and I\u2019m so grateful for your therapist for that. And you for putting in the work. And your friendship with [Tori] has helped so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

By the end of the conversation, Scheana was able to relate more to her husband\u2019s point<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBrock Davies\u2019 brood! Scheana Shay welcomed daughter Summer with her husband in April, and the Aussie has two other children from a previous marriage. Us Weekly broke the news in November 2019 that the \u201cOne More Time\u201d singer was dating Davies. The California native told Us at the time that she had been introduced to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI think he is saying this because he feels like I always have to ask for your opinion and your approval and your assurance. He feels like you help too much sometimes and it is a hindrance,\u201d she noted. \u201cI hope I can get to a place where I\u2019m not afraid to do things alone with my daughter. Where I don\u2019t work about something bad happening to her every day or Brock or my mom. I want to be able to enjoy living in the moment and not think this is the last moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Scheana, Erika and Tori all got emotional about the reality star\u2019s fluctuating mental health<\/a>, Brock attempted to find the positive in their tense talk.<\/p>\n
