1000-Lb Sisters<\/em> star Tammy Slaton<\/strong> is standing up for herself after receiving negative comments about her body.<\/p>\n

On Monday, February 5, Slaton, 37, reacted in a TikTok video to the comment, \u201cJust a question not trying to be rude, but do you know if your chin flap will go away.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou say you\u2019re not trying to be rude, but why on earth would you ask this in the first place?\u201d the TLC personality replied, adding that her \u201cchin flap\u201d is \u201cexcess skin\u201d and will go away after she gets skin removal surgery.<\/p>\n

Slaton went on to explain that she \u201cdoesn\u2019t know\u201d yet when she\u2019s getting the surgery but noted that it\u2019s \u201crude by asking and pointing [her excess skin] out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCan\u2019t I live my life without y\u2019all judging me, making fun of me for every little freaking thing?\u201d the reality star asked in the clip. \u201cI can\u2019t duet a friend without y\u2019all thinking I\u2019m trying to bang them. I can\u2019t be happy and smile without y\u2019all judging me because my teeth are missing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Slaton admitted that she felt \u201churt\u201d and \u201cbothered\u201d by receiving similar messages daily.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes y\u2019all don\u2019t understand what people are going through,\u201d Slaton shared. \u201cI\u2019m very insecure. I hide it because I don\u2019t want people to think I\u2019m weak and I truly am weak. And calling me a turkey or talking about my face \u2026 it bothers me. I\u2019m human.\u201d<\/p>\n

Slaton added that she wishes people \u201cwould just understand\u201d that hate comments could \u201csend somebody over the edge\u201d and even lead to suicide.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not that way. I used to be,\u201d she noted. \u201cI used to be very suicidal before I went to rehab and lost all this weight. I just want people to realize that hating is not OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tammy, who has appeared on TLC\u2019s 1000-Lb Sisters<\/em> with sister Amy Slaton<\/strong> since January 2020, has previously defended herself when it comes to comments about her body.<\/p>\n

Last month, Tammy posted a TikTok video<\/a> after a user commented that it looked like she had \u201cgained a few pounds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t gained any weight,\u201d Tammy responded, adding that it was probably just the camera angle.<\/p>\n
