Here&#8217;s what you can expect, based on the status you qualified for in 2023:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Premier Silver<\/strong>: 250 PQPs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Premier Gold<\/strong>: 500 PQPs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Premier Platinum<\/strong>: 750 PQPs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Premier 1K<\/strong>: 1,250 PQPs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you held full Premier status as of Feb. 1, 2024, you&#8217;re eligible for a PQP deposit according to your status level. The deposits have been cut in half from last year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As our members have largely returned to travel, we have adjusted the amount of the deposit to reflect this,&#8221; United&#8217;s website states.<\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/news\/united-elite-status-changes\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">United kept its elite status requirements the same<\/a> in 2024, the airline did change how you earn PQPs on spending with an eligible <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/credit-cards\/united\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">cobranded United credit card<\/a>. KYLE OLSEN\/THE POINTS GUY<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While we generally <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/news\/buy-up-united-status\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">don&#8217;t recommend buying up to the next United status tier<\/a>, how many PQPs will United deposit to your account if you do?<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.united.com\/ual\/en\/us\/fly\/help\/faq\/premier-qualification.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">United&#8217;s website<\/a>, you&#8217;ll earn the PQP deposit based on your Feb. 1 status. So, if you purchased the status buy-up before then, you&#8217;ll receive the PQP deposit from your new status. Otherwise, expect a PQP deposit from the status you qualified for in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>If you participated in a <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/guide\/airline-status-matches-challenges\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">status match challenge<\/a>, you should receive a PQP deposit if you successfully qualified for Premier status before Feb. 1, 2024, per United&#8217;s website.
