Jason Kelce, 36, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles and hosts the \u2018New Heights\u2019 podcast with The Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis, 34, heaped praise on the record-breaking Grammy winner, also 34, as he hit out at critics for saying Taylor was getting too much attention when she turned up at NFL games to support Travis.<\/p>\n
He told local Cincinnati TV station WCPO 9: \u201cShe\u2019s a world star, she\u2019s the quintessential artist right now in the world, singer-songwriter, immensely talented, an unbelievable role model for young women across the globe.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that the NFL would probably be foolish not to show her and be a role model for all the young girls out there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jason added NFL chiefs would not be showing Taylor on TV so much if people didn\u2019t want to see her, saying: \u201cThe attention is there because the audience wants to see it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf people didn\u2019t want to see it, they wouldn\u2019t be showing it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTaylor has reportedly generated $330 million for the NFL and given the sport its highest female viewership in a long time ever since she debuted her relationship with Travis by showing up at one of his games in September 2023.<\/p>\n
\nTaylor also made history at Sunday\u2019s (04.02.24) Grammys by winning her fourth best album award at the ceremony.<\/p>\n
\nBut NFL fans and celebrities have slammed the attention she gets during coverage of the NFL games she attends.<\/p>\n
\nIn October, Kelly Clarkson, 41, said on her talk show it was \u201cnot hilarious\u201d how Taylor\u2019s romance with Travis was \u201cliterally taking over the NFL for people that like watching sports now\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cIt\u2019s like you\u2019re watching \u2018Housewives\u2019 while you\u2019re watching.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nComic Jo Koy, 52, also joked about how many times Taylor appears onscreen during NFL games while he hosted the 2024 Golden Globes in January while Taylor sat in the audience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
