Burruss told Malkin<\/a> of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. <\/p>\n\u201cI\u2019m not keeping up\u2026 I decided I\u2019m not coming back this year. It\u2019s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long, but during that time I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I\u2019m super excited about those things.\u201d<\/p>\n
Wow, huh?<\/p>\n
According to People Magazine, Burruss really is leaving of her own accord.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear what sort of projects Kandi has been working on \u2014 but she\u2019s a very successful musician.<\/p>\n
As a songwriter, Burruss has received writing credits on Destiny\u2019s Child\u2019s \u201cBills, Bills, Bills,\u201d Pink\u2019s \u201cThere You Go,\u201d Ariana Grande\u2019s \u201cBreak Up with Your Girlfriend, I\u2019m Bored\u201d and Ed Sheeran\u2019s \u201cShape of You,\u201d among other hit tracks.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just like, after you really have time to think, and a friend of mine was like, \u2018Why do you keep doing it?\u2019 And I was like, <\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018Well, I think because I\u2019ve just been doing it for so long, it feels weird to think not to do it?\u2019 <\/p>\n
\u201cSo I was just like, \u2018You know what? Aside from Kandi, season 15 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta featured Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, Shere\u00e9 Whitfield, Kenya Moore and Sanya Richards-Ross.<\/p>\n
Andy Cohen, however, has already stated that the show will be retooled and a bunch of cast changes will be made ahead of season 16.<\/p>\n
Back in November, meanwhile, Burruss recalled to Variety how painful it was to be accused awhile back by Porsha Williams that she and Tucker had drugged and sexually assaulted women.<\/p>\n
\u201cI mean, I don\u2019t even like to talk about it, really, to be honest with you,\u201d Burruss said at the time. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a crazy situation that just exploded, and a situation I never thought I\u2019d see myself in, happening on the show. And that was one the times where I really felt like, \u2018I can\u2019t do this anymore.\u2019 <\/p>\n
\u201cBut we made it through.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
