Nelly<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Ashanti<\/a>\u00a0were the sweetest duet partners while performing\u00a0at E11EVEN Miami’s 10th anniversary party on Friday. The couple, who rekindled their longtime romance last year after calling it quits in 2013, gave a joint musical performance to an\u00a0enthusiastic crowd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ashanti, 43, and Nelly, 49, walked the red carpet together before taking to the stage. The\u00a0<\/span>Falling For You<\/span><\/em>\u00a0artist kept it chic in an all-pink ensemble, dressed in\u00a0an oversized Balenciaga jersey dress with hot pink sunglasses and pointed booties. Nelly\u00a0sported a large white shirt with indigo cargo pants and a heavy diamond chain to match his watch and bracelets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Rapper Fat Joe later joined onstage for a second performance, bringing the audience back to the early aughts as he and Ashanti performed their greatest hits together.<\/span><\/p>\n Ashanti teased the trio’s performance to her fans before they hit the stage <\/span>via an Instagram post shared on Friday<\/a>. “Miami!!!!! It’s up tonight!!!! Me and @nelly @11miami 10 year anniversary celebration!!!! See you there!!!” she captioned a pic of the event flyer featuring her and Nelly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Time for an unforgettable night,” the\u00a0venue commented in reply to her post.<\/span><\/p>\n Ashanti and Nelly have become inseparable since they sent the R&B world into a frenzy after being\u00a0<\/span>spotted together<\/a>\u00a0for the first time last year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In April, the rapper and the “Rain on Me” singer were\u00a0<\/span>seen holding hands as they walked<\/a>\u00a0through T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas during the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight. In another video posted to social media,\u00a0the duo was captured performing their hit, “Body on Me,” during a pool party.<\/span><\/p>\n Two months later, they made their first red carpet appearance at Quality Control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas’\u00a0birthday celebration.<\/span><\/p>\n In September,\u00a0Ashanti\u00a0<\/span>walked the red carpet<\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a02023 MTV VMAs sans Nelly, but kept him close.
