Kyle Richards<\/strong><\/a> spoke out about Melissa Gorga<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s assumptions that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> star was using Ozempic to slim down.<\/p>\n After the Halloween<\/em> actress, 54, shared a photo of herself<\/a> wearing a pink mini dress on Sunday, February 26, a user accused her of using the diabetes medicine, claiming that her \u201cfellow housewives<\/a> have told on\u201d her. Richards, for her part, clapped back at the troll \u2014 and clarified (again) that she wasn\u2019t using the drug.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is not true. MY fellow Housewives never said such a thing,\u201d she responded. \u201cAnother Housewife from a different franchise, aka Melissa, stated she assumed I was but then texted an apology to me.\u201d<\/p>\n The Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em><\/a> star, 43, made headlines in January when she revealed that she initially believed the rumors<\/a> that Richards was taking Ozempic to lose weight.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not gonna lie, when I first saw her, I was like, \u2018Oh, she\u2019s taking that stuff,\u2019\u201d Gorga said during an appearance on the \u201cJeff Lewis Live\u201d<\/a> SiriusXM radio show. \u201cAnd then, when she [denied it], I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, OK, maybe not.\u2019 You know, I don\u2019t know. I didn\u2019t even text her and ask her.\u201d<\/p>\n According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Ozempic is a medication that is commonly used for chronic weight management<\/a> in adults with obesity or who are overweight with conditions<\/a>, including high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. The medicine has made headlines in Hollywood recently due to various stars allegedly using it to quickly shed pounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n Richards, for her part, has been accused of using the drug since she began posting pictures of her body transformation<\/a> earlier in the year. The Little House on the Prairie<\/em> alum shut down the speculation<\/a> immediately.<\/p>\n \u201cI am NOT taking Ozempic. Never have,\u201d she wrote in an Instagram comment in mid-January, replying to a social media user. \u201cI have never tried Ozempic and this is not from plastic surgery. I did have a breast reduction in May [2022]. I\u2019m honest about what I do. But if giving plastic surgery the credit makes you feel better then pop off sister \ud83d\ude18.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bravo personality began her wellness journey<\/a> after returning from her three-week getaway in Europe<\/a> during summer 2022. When she returned home, she decided to eliminate sugar, carbs and alcohol from her diet. One month later, Richards revealed she felt \u201camazing\u201d after abstaining from alcohol<\/a> for seven months.<\/p>\n \u201cTruth is I don\u2019t miss it at all,\u201d she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time. \u201cI feel amazing so don\u2019t see the point right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
