\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Evan Rachel Wood<\/strong><\/a> is taking a stand after Ashley Morgan Smithline<\/strong><\/a> claimed she \u201cmanipulated\u201d her into taking Marilyn Manson<\/strong><\/a> to court over alleged sexual abuse that she later denied happened. <\/p>\n Earlier this month, Ashley <\/strong>filed formal court documents to rescind all of her claims about the controversial musician<\/a>. In them, she implied that Evan<\/strong>, who has also accused Marilyn <\/strong>of abuse, pushed her into coming forward with an untrue story. <\/p>\n She also said she felt \u201cpressured\u201d by her legal team to speak out about the alleged experience to the press. <\/p>\n Evan <\/strong>filed new documents in court contesting the claim about her involvement in the case and presenting new evidence that implies Ashley <\/strong>is lying.<\/p>\n Read more about Evan Rachel Wood\u2019s rebuttal\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n According to Rolling Stone<\/em>, Evan <\/strong>produced more than three years of reported correspondence with Ashley <\/strong>that discounts her recent claims. <\/p>\n An alleged voicemails even includes a reference to pressure to \u201cturn on the other girls and say it [her abuse accusation] was all a ruse.\u201d The reported conversation between Ashley <\/strong>and a friend mentions that Marilyn<\/strong>\u2018s legal team was pushing for that, and that she felt like she was being treated as \u201cthe weak link.\u201d<\/p>\n Other messages included references to hate that Ashley <\/strong>was receiving online after coming forward with her allegations. <\/p>\n \u201cThe real pressure Smithline<\/strong> faced was not to make allegations against Plaintiff\u2014it was to retract them,\u201d the docs read. \u201cSmithline<\/strong>\u2019s declaration is therefore wholly unreliable.\u201d<\/p>\n Ashley <\/strong>responded to a request for comment from the publication, saying, \u201cEvan<\/strong>\u2019s full of shit.
